Hello, my problem is I bought a RX 9060XT 16GB, I tried to enable Resizable BAR and here comes the issues. I have a HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation and my MOBO is: BaseBoard Product 8455. Technically my MOBO supports Resizable BAR, just when I go to the BIOS I don't have the option to enable it. I tried to search online for the problem and I came about more than one issue. Might be my CPU (it's a i7 8700), might be my BIOS version but it's updated to the latest version according to HP. Is there anything I'm missing or just my hardware does not support? According to GPU-Z Above 4G Decode is enabled.

Thanks for the help.

Then you don’t have a way to enable it.

You can’t enable a feature you have no control over.

I'd say either the motherboard doesnt have that feature,  or HP dont wanna bother with adding the option to that motherboard's BIOS.

It's kinda gaming centric feature after all.

Not really savvy about it.
You can try what @Tan3l6 said, but I think it is more to just setting it in the gpu level, while you also need the feature turned on at BIOS level.

Some sources online are saying Intel 10th gen or up is required. Not sure if that's accurate (or the most up to date) information. But that could be the issue.

Well fast check, specifically looking 8700 and ReBAR found evidence that it should work with given CPU:

As said before by @Mumintroll if OP didn't look for SAM then he might have just missed it.

Or it might be that HP hasn't bothered to implement the ReBAR on that motherboard.

I don't believe it's possible either, but maybe see what happens if you enable it in Windows with Nvidia Profile Inspector (don't forget to apply changes after switching it on):

That may be a little difficult to implement since OP has an AMD graphics card coupled with an Intel CPU.

oof 😄

AMD does not support Nvidia Profile inspector. Why did think it was RTX 3070?

It would be nice but it would probably require collab between AMD and Nvidia. Not impossible but very unlikely IMHO 🙂

The same goes for AMD Adrenalin. I really prefer the configurability of Adrenalin compared to MSI afterburner. More options and more fine-tuning. But again, AMD won't support Nvidia GPUs out of the blue if they don't have some incentives to do so.

Reading little bit the official documentation from HP
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/setup-user-guides/hp-z2-tower-g4-workstation/20063240
HP PC Commercial BIOS (UEFI) Setup Administration Guide

looks like there is no option in the motherboard BIOS to enble Re-sizeable bar...
