This is exactly the reason why I stand up for some of the other people who get crucified for doing or saying much less. The masses are so quick to demand the death of someone they don't like for similar behavior, yet those same people make excuses for shitheads like Justin Bieber. You do NOT get to say his behavior isn't the same and you do NOT get to say he's not being racist when other people have their careers ruined for much less.

Paula Deen was accused for saying the N word once 10 years ago, and before anything was even proven, her shows were cancelled, her endorsement pulled and her product lines cancelled. I don't care about Paula Deen personally, but what happened to her is not right when someone like Justin Bieber gets to make racist comments and jokes over, and over and over again and no one cares.

Brendan Eich, former CEO of Firefox, never said a single word against gay people. But someone else broke the law and made public the record of his political donations, one of which was in support of Prop 8 in California. 17 million people voted in favor of Prop 8, as is their constitutional right. It was also Mr. Rich constitutional right to make a donation in support of a legal ballot measure. Yet he was forced out of his job while Justin Bieber get's to repeatedly make racist jokes and comments.

Donald Sterling was recorded, illegally, making racist comments by his black girlfriend for the sole purpose of breaking even more laws by extorting money out of Mr. Sterling. Now, Mr. Sterling had a history of racist comments and actions, which the NBA cared nothing about. But all of a sudden an illegal recording gets leaked to TMZ, and he is banned for life. All the while Justin Bieber gets to make racist comments and jokes over and over again without any consequences.

I get that when you are with your friends you say jokes all the time. (At least my friends and I do). It's not racist or anything it's just a joke. If it was racist, shows like Family Guy, The Cleveland Show and Tosh.0 would have been canceled in the first episode.  It's a joke, they are funny. Get over it. 

 

The problem is, when you are that popular, with someone recording you doing a controversial thing, nothing good is going to come out of it. It was just stupid for him to do it. 

 

In my opinion, he is not racist, he is just stupid for saying that on camera when millions of people would see it.
