Free Services Like Firebase Devs Should Know

My suggestion is Google Cloud, whats yours?

I know it might not be secure, yeah vibecoding is cool but we shouldnt do smt unless we understand it and etc. thx but these disclaimers get old quick. maybe we shall be reminded frequently for we are stupid but i dont work at a nuclear powerplant.

Don’t rely on free services for any project you plan to maintain long-term.
Something being free and working great today doesn’t mean it’ll stay that way in say five years.
For example, Google Maps used to be free to use on web and mobile, but now even basic embedding on the web requires an API key and billing account.

There is also a grey area, like FCM... FCM is one of those services you technically don’t have to use, but with Doze and modern Android background limits, rolling your own push system just leads to pain and unreliable delivery.

I don't quite see the point of such generic recommendations, without also providing some form of "who's that for and why". I mean, Google Cloud can do a lot, doesn't mean every project has a need for anything it provides.

ok bro yes youre right and actually thanks a lot because this looks like some dope ass advice, but still i wanna know some free services for some fun silly projects..
