When, I built my computer in early 2024, I got a be quiet 1000w and it was DoA so I went to best buy and got a corsair 2023 rme 750w.

Anyways, now I think its going out because it has coil whine real bad when under load and it trips my breaker every now and then when I click my power button.

So, I wanted to ask about a new power supply.

I dont need anything crazy.

Like a 750-850w.

I have a 5900x and a 9070, both are under volted and system does not go above 500w. So like 600-750 is probably fine. But I like the headroom.

Ive been looking at overclockers and psu cultists tier lists and I can either order a psu and wait or go to best buy and get one.

I am going to attach the ones I could get from my best buy today.

I know the rmx1000 from corsair is good but I dont want to spend 180$ and the rme 1000 is supposed to be good also.

I wanted to get more peoples feed back.

Im personally looking at the rme 850.

Wish they had the rmx 850 in stock.

I live in Louisiana, USA

Budget 100 - 175 *(would rather not spend that much but I would if its really worth it).

I only have a Walmart and Best Buy for electronics where I live sadly so its that or online.

Open to both

You should be well within its warranty period, so I suggest doing an RMA with Corsair, if you think it's failing.

That said, coil whine is fairly normal, and not a sign of failure.

Tripping the breaker when you flip the switch at the back of the PSU can happen due to the inrush current, but tripping when you press the power button on the case is a bit strange.
