Go for an AM5 build. Choose the Ryzen 5 7600 along with a RTX 5070. Also, add 32GB DDR5 CL30 6000MHZ RAM. These parts should easily let you game at 2k or even 4k for several years down the line.

Thank you so much for this info. I have been having the hardest time figuring out CPUs and obviously I am not doing well learning the other things ha ha.

Here's what I'm gonna recommend for ya.

The Ryzen 5 7600X is great, 6 Cores is a wonderful sweetspot nowadays, 105w tdp can be handled fine by the Hyper 212 (I have a 12700K with this thing, I know), and on AM5 with future upgrade potential!

RTX 5060 Ti 16GB because blender prefers Nvidia to AMD (according to a google search) and I wouldn't recommend buying the regular 5060 with 8GB cause it can be limiting in games now.

Crucial's 1TB SSD is the same price as their 500GB.

Not much I could cut on and keep the same performance (but don't just rely on my message)

Thank you so much for your reply and additional info. Idk why I wasn’t looking at AMD vs Nvidia when considering doing more Blender. I think your input is super helpful and will help point me in the right direction.

Here is a pcpartlist I through together after going into Reddit. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KZtYjn I am a total novice and need help. I have tried to do research but don’t know the best place to spend my money. I know I want to build inside the fractal Terra case, I know it will be a challenge because its small form factor.

Budget (including currency): Try and keep it around $1,000, however I would be wiling to add more if it dramatically increases the performance

Country:

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Playing Battlefield 6 on my 77 inch TV hopefully at 2K and using blender

Thank you

I'll play the devil's advocate and say you simply can't afford mITX. That's not a bad thing, just grounding you. $1k whilst it is a lot of money, in new PC space, it's entry level. mITX is a premium form factor, one pricier than even ATX or EATX.

I've made a compromise. Case similar to your Terra, slightly bigger, PC that is much faster and saves you some $300. FYI no WIFI/Bluetooth but we can add that with a different motherboard.

Wow! This is super helpful too. I can go above my $1,000 but was hoping I wouldn’t have to go to much higher. The $1,000 was just an easier sale to my wife lol. However I am fine going over. If I wanted to get a motherboard with wifi and Bluetooth, which would you recommend?

Thank you for being real with me too. Also for providing me with an AMD option as well.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask for pointers. If I had to TLDR your previous build, it's just a mismatch of parts with each others, the scales would be way off to one side but in either way, pointing towards "slow." Sort of similar to buying yourself a fast Mercedes AMD GT and then speccing it with LingLong or Mucho Macho tyres that will ruin the experience by missing out on the potential you paid for in the first place.
