Fresh OS install for different Chip set?

Hey, I'm going to get a GTX 800 series GPU and a Broad well MB and CPU when they arrive. Do I need to do a fresh OS install when I get them? I currently have an FX-6300 and a 7790 (AMD/Radeon)

Yes, a clean install is highly recommended...

OEM/builders shouldn't work again (but may anyway), but a retail copy should be fine
