Welcome to the Forums!

In what way is your current system not meeting your needs?

For older games and many eSports titles, that system on paper should provide a reasonable experience at 1080p.

Thank you

I want to know if i could upgrade to play more demading games like triple A titles

In that case, the graphics card is going to be the first component to upgrade. 6GB is not enough VRAM for most recent AAA titles, and the card's performance isn't sufficient for most new AAA games either.

What is your budget and what country are you in?

Your options in the new market then are the RX 9060 XT 16GB or RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. Both perform around the same. It's just a question of do you want to pay the premium to keep your access to Nvidia's features.

The RX 9060 XT 16GB is available for $360-370. The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB usually goes for about $460, but there is an MSRP model available at the moment for $430 at Best Buy.

I would avoid the 8GB versions of those cards. They are not worth saving the money on since 8GB is already quite limiting for new AAA games, even at 1080p, and this will only get worse in coming years.

Thanks, do you thinking the CPU could make bottlenecking

It would depend on the game and the settings you use, which is what you want for a balanced system.

In eSports titles where you turn down settings to try to push as many frames as possible, you'll likely be limited by the R5 5500.

However, in AAA games where you turn up graphics settings to make them look better, then the 9060XT/5060Ti would likely be the bottleneck.

as a esports gamer I have a 7800x3d and a 2070 it is a big bottleneck and im looking to upgrade but the GPU gets me through most games I want at 1440p max graphics. I know you have a different system and its an unpopular opinion but I think CPUs are more important especially for esports titles

In no game am I aware of is the 7700x having a cpu bottleneck that matters in esports titles.

I cant be arsed worrying that I could get 400fps rather then 300fps in valorant at 1440p.

in esports you want more fps than you need so you can cap it and prevent lag spikes. But he only has 5500x not a 7700x

That is your budget for the upgrade correct? And are you going to sell the old parts because that can add money to the budget?

Yeas, that my budget, but im not thinking on selling my parts to add money to the budget

Some people are going to disagree with me and if you can't its all good but my best recommendation and what I would do in your situation is sell your PC (take some good pics and advertise it well) Then with the money you can get a new rig that can run most triple A games at 1440p or high 1080p. Because any upgrades are either going to create a bottleneck or need to have a different mobo or psu. Im just putting the idea out there.

What resolution do you play at?

Maybe an RTX 3060 or RX 9060 would be a good GPU upgrade. Or you could wait for a completer system overhaul to avoid CPU bottlenecking.

AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600g w/ Radeon Graphics | 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM | 256GB NVME SSD + 2TB HDD | Amazon Basics 2.0 Speakers

system will always bottleneck, if they find they are lacking GPU performance in their suit they can upgrade the GPU.

And ONLY when they find themselve CPU limited should they look to upgrade the CPU.

no reaosn to build a whole new system with desktops pretty much ever.
