I see a lot of people talk about reaserch when starting to build first time build but what are the reaserch include?

Well, when i researched (and i'm still doing it), i did it through many reputable tech sites, YT channels (LTT, Austin, Tech of Tomorrow...) and many tech forums

 

But the best way i found was reading articles and asking questions on forums (and of course reading the said forums!)

Always spend more then 3000 on a gaming rig. Always go for 720p and High end cards like GTX titan. Get 15 core Xeons..

You must first understand your need, your budget and the time of your purchase. Technology is rapidly advancing and you need to have a tight grasp on the developments to get the best value for your money which also serves your purpose. Begin by reading about your preferred platform, your brand preferences, other people's suggestions(by posting on LTT etc.) and finally listening to your wallet.
