Me and a couple of friends have been trying to get windows 10 to boot as fast as possible. I've done all the basic stuff in windows, but nothing advanced. As of right now I have windows booting in less than a second, without doing anything crazy. Is there anything else I can do to make it boot even faster? As far as I can see on Google the fastest published boot time was something like 4.6 seconds

How are you timing boot? 1 second seems very fast if your timing from button press to desktop.

Take a look here if you haven't before https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/fastest-windows-10-boot-time,5810.html

TLDR: Fast drive, less ram, bios setup for fast boot, GPT boot.

Bold claim, given board POST usually takes longer. How are you measuring this?

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2

Ryzen 7 5800x - XFX RX6600 - Asus STRIX B550i - 32GB DDR4-3200CL14 - Corsair SF750 - Lian Li O11 Mini - EK 360 AIO - Asus PG348Q

Make sure you don't have too much RAM capacity (or memory training will take longer) and the RAM will be 1 stick and fast, a super fast SSD, as small amount of programs as possible, and a very fast CPU.

AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600g w/ Radeon Graphics | 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM | 256GB NVME SSD + 2TB HDD | Amazon Basics 2.0 Speakers

Apparently, 1 dimm is preferable

Yeah, this isn't possible.

Unless measuring from when Windows shows up to when you get into it?  From off to in Windows is 10 seconds plus, as you accumulate more apps that load with it.
