Windows memory management

Is there a way to disable Windows notifications about RAM so that the system can let me worry about RAM on my own instead of treating me like an 8 year old like "hey m8 I see you're actually using the RAM you paid for, you should stop"

 

These are annoying as hell and the Internet makes it really difficult to find a clear solution to this other than the obvious "more RAM or close things"

How are you using up 32Gigs? Just curious. And from what I've found it's pretty much impossible to prevent that message from popping up.

Okay, I just found what I believe is the correct group policy object, go to:

 

Local Computer Policy

>Computer Configuration

>Administrative Templates

>System

>Troubleshooting and Diagnostics

>Resource Exhaustion Detection and Resolution

Which you would get to by going to:

Start Menu's Search

Type "Edit Group Policy"

Click the result that says that.

Assuming you are on Win7. Win8.1u1 doesn't have that.

Edit: The Resource Exhaustion Detection and Resolution folder won't appear in that sub-directory unless I apply a filter for the word Resource. Strange. Very strange. You are to set the Configure Scenario Execution Level value to Disabled btw. Forgot to mention that. @helping

I just noticed this and made an attempt to filter for "exhaustion" instead

somehow that causes a hang, currently waiting for policy editor to respond..

Filtering continues to cause hanging..

I have win7 and it never does this. Its completely absurd that it should warn you at 12/16gb

When I use 99% of my ram (also 16gb) no warnings come up and nothing gets closed/loses information

Obviously win8 has some trouble dealing with its ram allocation...

If that's not bad enough Chrome sits on the edge of a flight of stairs and goes full seppuku mode around 14GB (to be fair it does eat most of the RAM) and that tends to drop me down to 7-9GB
