Hi,

I'm currently troubleshooting a few things and noticed that my RTX 3090's VRAM temperatures are hitting around 90°C to 95°C. I'm not sure if that's normal or something to be concerned about?

Here are the current temps:

GPU Core: 71°C

Hot Spot: 83°C

Memory (VRAM): 90°C

Also, I noticed that my CPU's PL1/PL2 limits are unlocked and set to 4095W by default. I'm using a Corsair 240mm AIO cooler, and I'm wondering if that’s ideal, especially for long gaming sessions.

My CPU is an i7-10700K running at 5.0GHz, and during heavy usage (80–90%), the temps hover around 62°C.

Is this setup and these temps okay, or should I consider making some adjustments?

Thanks!

I would say that your temperatures are actually looking okay for a 3090.

If I had a 3090 and I saw these temperatures during heavy gaming, I wouldn't worry.

VRAM is a bit hot but if its average temperature is 90c then its fine 🙂

My 3090FE (bumped to 400W) lived its life without any throttling with in game VRAM temps of 94-96c. New owner is still using it without issue.

Now, if you attempted to mine on it, it would shoot past 100c easily but I only attempted that once and for roughly 15 seconds and said forget about it.
