So, I have opted to go for Air Cooling over an AIO unit and I am looking for something that would be ideal for a non OC i5-4670k (or Devils Canyon equiv) but still have the potential to OC when I feel confident doing so, I Don't want hinder my Vengeance Pro RAM Modules. I will be wanting the Max level of cool while maintaining all four ram slots.

Suggestions and recommendations ?

clarify please? are you going from air to AIO? also why have a K SKU and not overclock? and why liquidcool it then.

to answer the question (assuming you are going for a AIO) no waterblock will interfere with your ram, since they dont hang over the CPU slot.

if you are going aircooling, the NH-D15 is optimised to work with tall ram

i see you edited your post. go for the d15 its great

That is going to be difficult, I think your best option is an AIO cooler.

Current rig: CPU: AMD FX-8120  Cooling: Corsair H100i  Mobo: ASRock 970 Extreme 3  RAM: 8GB 1333Mhz  GPU: MSI GTX 660Ti Power Edition  Case: Fractal Design Define R4  Storage: 2TB Seagate HDD + 128GB Crucial SSD  PSU: be quiet! 730W bronze

I have edited for you :D sorry just got in from work and my brain farted :(

I would be looking to go for AIR cooling just to clarify.

Yeah I just heard stories of the units leaking and stuff and I'm not a huge fan of replacing expensive stuff GTX 770' etc. Unless my concerns are misguided :P

get something like a d15 then, and pelase for the love of god, overclock that CPU :D

and yeah your concerns are moot. maybe 1 percent of them will leak, and if they are under warranty, (atleast CM) the maker replaces all the stuff for you

just watch a few haswell guides to learn the basics, then do it yourself, but DONT USE THE SAME NUMBERS AS THE VIDEOS, try your own

I'm pretty sure its under 0.01% that leak. 1% is more like the failure rate. Failure does not mean leak :)

You can get the NH-U14s NH-D14 or NH-D15 they are all compatible with vengence pro.

Ovbiously These are very very high end coolers so if you don't overclock with them its abit pointless :P Just watch some guides on how to do it, its actually really easy just be patient though, if you rush it thats how things go bad.

CPU: i7 3770k@ 4.6Ghz@ 1.23v - GPU: Palit GTX 660ti - MOBO: Asrock Extreme 4 - RAM: Corsair vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz - PSU: OCZ 650watt - STORAGE: 128Gb corsair force GT SSD/ 1TB seagate barracuda 7200rpm

                                                                                         COOLING: NH-U14s/ 3x Noiseblocker blacksilent pros/ Silverstone Air Penetrator/ 2 corsair AF120s
