This problem I noticed started about April 27/28th.

My pcs been hard freezing, I still get audio but the system fully locks up and I have to power it off and and on to get it going again. April 27th I was playing BG3 for about 6.5hrs with obs running no issue, the next day after about 3hrs the system completely freezes.

Ive made sure everything plug in and seated correctly, I turned down my graphics setting, I installed the lasted drivers, Even tried rolling back the gpu drivers with a fresh install, I formatted my pc. I cant find any fix to this and don't understand why its suddenly happened. Before April 28th everything worked fine. I haven't changed anything, and it only happens while obs is running(I'm streaming) other than that I can game and watch youtube with no issue.

Updated my bios now it tells me this everytime the pc boots up

Yikes. You should have disabled tpm, but I don't blame you... It's not well known... Well I hope there's a fix for that, not sure.

Edit: basically hope you didn't have encryption enabled, or if you did, hope you have the key...

If you don't have encryption/bitlocker enabled pressing y should probably be fine, but proceed at your own risk...

Actually? 32gbs isnt enough ram!? And things are running smooth, I read if I dont have encryption/bit locker enabled it should be fine, there was no prompt to enter a key.

Edit, I obviously wont know if this helped fix my problem till I fully put it under load again.

I actually meant different ram... modern PCs have tons of ram compatibility issues... often changing out ram helps (even more so if you can find out which ram actually works best on your specific mobo / CPU combo)

This it what task manager shows the second it froze

doesn't show much, but that doesn't particularly look like ram issue, however, ram issues also can damage a windows install, so hard to say.

What this looks like now is more hard drive or a specific game/driver issue... again hard to tell (would need error codes for starters, check for critical errors in event viewer)

I can't even open a game now,

Also, OBS still running?

Just noticed something... OBS, Nvidia GPU... That's actually not surprising considering the state of current Nvidia drivers... I'd try to use Nvidia app for recording, or DDU and install driver 566.36.

Omg Nvidia drivers have been a mess lately. Obs wasn't running, Just a game this time. I was able to replicate the issue in 2 mins. Im getting a second opinion and having a tech look at it

Windows updates look good, Nothing coincides with the days the problems started. I don't have the money or extra parts to try different different hard ware trouble shooting. I honestly don't know what to do any more, everything ive tried doesn't work. Im starting to lose faith i'll ever get the issue fixed 😭

Could be faulty ram. Try each stick seperately.

At this point I'm not sure if it's hardware issue or not, I was at the PC repair shop and could see with my own eyes that games worked fine. As soon as I get home it freezes again. Could something I'm plugging in cause it to freeze?

I have kbm, mic, stream deck, capture card, and an Astro mixamp plugged in
