So... someone please tell me if I got this correct, before I end up destroying some shit by mistake or something.

 

If there's a thread on the outer side, and there's a needle in the middle of it. It's RP-SMA Female.

If there's a thread on the outer side, and there's a hole in the middle of it, It's SMA Female.

 

If there's a thread on the inside, and there's a needle in the middle. It's SMA Male.

If there's a thread on the inside, and there's a hole in the middle. It's RP-SMA Male.

 

Did I get that correct ?

Is there any outlier ?

Because I don't wanna buy two antennas for my wifi card where I only need 1. Also not wanna trial & error and destroy something (if that's possible)

Nothing about what connector they use in the documentation for the wifi card, so... yea.
