Is my PSU future proof?

Just yesterday I finished my new build. I upgraded from an evga 800w PSU from like 6 years ago to a Corsair HX1000. This is rated A+ On PSU Tier List. Is it future proof? I have a 4070 and will be upgrading to a 4090 soon.

Yes, this is a great PSU and will last you a long time   Its top tier.

1000w also goes a long way!

Awesome!  A new build is always fun! 

I personally only use Corsair PSU's ( RMx / HX series ).  I stand by their reliability.

Nope (predictive mode), 1 year from now a faulty cap will blow and it will be out of warranty.

 

j/k I know most top PSUs have like 5-10 year warranties.

On the one hand, nothing is futureproof. On the other, a solid PSU with a high wattage rating should stand you in good stead for a long time to come. On the third hand, that word "should" is doing a lot of heavy lifting; it could die tomorrow. Probably won't, but could. 
All that being said, the Corsair HX1000 comes with a 5 year warranty and I've only had good experiences with Corsair RMA

The Corsair HX1000 is a Platinum efficient PSU with 10 year warranty, not 5  

Its top tier.

Weird. Corsair's warranty page has self conflicting info

Like, it says that Platinum models have 10y, but it specifies that the HX1000 has 5y. 
I hit up customer support and they confirmed a 10year warranty

I think that's left over from the original HX series which is some ~15 years old.
