CPU or GPU ?

I'm thinking to build a gaming pc with soft video editing (3 to 4 times a week) under 750€ in Portugal and i though to buy a 

Intel Core i7-4790 277,90€ to go along with a Radeon r9 270x 2gb 185,90€.

And i wanted to know if thats's ok or should I buy a cheaper CPU and a better GPU ?

Maybe an i5 4430 and R9 290.

yup i7 will ony be worth the extra $$$ in rendering or long demanding tasks. Go with an i5 K version and that will be more than enough for gaming

i5 4670k is better for gaming and other stuff!
