Am I missing any cables?

I bought an MSI Mag A750GL, it only seems to have 1 8 pin to 6+2 pin pcie power connector and there is a 8 pin to dual 6+2 pin connector, where is the other 8 to 6+2 pin connector? Is there a 8 pin to 8 pin pcie power cable?

Those two PCIe cables are the ones it should come with. What are you trying to power that you can't use those cables for?

It should come with a 300W adapter that uses two PCIe 8 pin connectors. What is the issue?

Yes I did I got a 8 pin to 6+2 pin splitter, I don't know if that is trust worthy, and only 1 8 pin to 6+2 pin connecter

Didn't Nvidia said the splitter cables are untrustworthy or am I hyperventilating?

pigtails ain't the best, but they do still work.  And your GPU won't be pulling 450W so it's fine.

30 series unique cable is fine. Nvidia cheaped out and found out during the 40 and 50 series.

I only have a daul 6+2 pin to 8 pin not a triple one to 8 pin, or is the 30 series unique cable different?

No, the dual connecters were 6+2 not 4, and the output is 8

It only uses 2x 8 pin power plugs, what are you so worried about?!  

 

Plug in both 8 pin, and use both.  the pigtail doesn't get plugged in.

I only have 1 6+2 pin psu, are you saying to first connect the 8 pin to 6+2 pin and then connect one of the pigtail 6+2 pin into the 3080?

1. Your RTX 3080 model and make so we know exactly what we're dealing with.
2. Did you buy it used? If so, previous owner might have forgotten to include it
3. Post a picture of your GPU and its power connector.
