Hello!

A german site tested 14 different 290(x), if you ever wanted to know which one is the best, now we know. It's the Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X R9 290 Tri-X OC.

translate.google.com brakes the site, but you can still click on the "next page thingy at the bottom of every page. Who needs all that text? The graphs work in every language :D

Ya that card is really cheap. TriX 290x OC is 500CHF here, while reference, DCUII and so on are 600CHF O.o ^^

Too bad I got a reference, but it's watercooled though, just not a very golden overclocker =P

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...

I was surprised how bad their cooler is. The old three slot DCUII was nice.

Linus should ask JJ on WAN show why Asus reuse GK110 cooler for Hawaii XT and still charging premium for it. Even the Matrix card is a joke.

Too bad that the best-bang-for-the-buck (~330€ at the moment) R9 290 card at this time, the PowerColor R9 290 DuoTurbo, isn't in the roundup. Awesome card.

I can also recommend the MSI, but I'd go for the PowerColor if I had the choice.
