Good.

Now that the ram is set and we helped the memory controller out. Set multi to give you 4.3ghz at the same 1.454 volts as before and run Prime95 Blend.

I'll do that tomorrow, i'm going to sleep soon

Does it do that at 4.2Ghz?

It could also just be a software freeze from the high load. That could also mean your CPU is very close to needing more voltage.

Let 4.3Ghz run out for a while and see if it happens again.

Download OCCT and see if it reports the same voltage and temp drops.

OK, will do, nothing has droped in the past 5 min now tho.

NO drops in past 10 min from either software. Seems to be good now.

Well that is good.

Let Prime95 run for a total of 20-30 minutes. If nothing drops or gives you issues then move on up to 4.4Ghz and retest with Prime95.

ok. Should i keep voltage the same when i increase it?

Also, i found a nice use for MSI comand center. So it doesnt seem to save upon reboot, but, i can use it to find a stable OC, then once its stable, change it in the bios

The bios is usually the way to go.

OK. But im saying i can first find a stable OC using Comand center, and then once its stable, set it to that in the bios.

And MSI fastboot is nice, becasue there is a go2bios button, and when you press that, computer restarts and goes imediatly to bios

It's odd that the whole computer shut off instead of it dropping a core or two.

Is windows set to Performance?

A complete crash is not what I would expect.

HOw do i set it to perrformance?

And it didnt really crash, computer was still on, it just didnt output any signals to  monitor, and power buttons didnt work. Becuase all fans were still on.

Mistyped. Set it to 4.3Ghz with alittle extra voltage and run Prime95 blend again.

Watch for temps and voltage spikes.

ok.
