Rate My System

Go to solution Solved by xToFxREAPER,

Seems like a relatively good system, sometimes you gotta work with what you can afford or already own 7/10 :)

1/10

Well then, Might as well just go toss it in the trash. Better hurry before the trash man comes so I do not miss him :P Do not want to see a 1/10 xD

Thanks for the comment, I plan on 8 more gigs of ram and possibly a new PSU. But I would need to see a fair reason to switch to a newer PSU. From what I seen it is a good PSU but I could be wrong. But aside from the reasoning I am also wanting a red/black PSU sorta :P

its a decent psu, little older now, personally i would grab an ax860 watt or even an rm850 watt (thats what i use log is in sig) and some nice sleeved cables other then that it looks pretty solid

Thanks for that! I will most definitely look into that once I can save up the money and after I get 8 more gigs of ram. Anything else you feel that is off? I think that overall it is a good system, aside from the PSU which I can agree is not the best. But like I said I could not just toss it. For what it is worth the PC work wonders for what I need :D

No after ram and psu the only thing i would consider looking into is hard drives, you have a boot ssd so your set there maybe just grab like a 2tb wd red or something cause that 500gb will disappear very fast

Yea haha. So far it is just a PSU that i can see being a real issue with other users. The rest saying GPU and Ram well it works and I get decent FPS just might ass 8 more gigs of ram :P But I want a psu that can run more efficient and that is red/black. But for the time being there is 0 reason to change it out and it is reliable and I've seen no hiccups so it will stay for now. More ram is probably better than a new PSU as like I said the PSU is working perfectly fine.

Yea should have noted I also have an external 500GB HDD and another 320GB that is stored away in a box that the SSD was in. Like I said I really appreciate the opinions and I will highly consider them. For now since the PSU is working and no hiccups I think my next upgrade is 8 more gigs of ram. PSU will be way later because what I have just plain works. Might not be as efficient but oh well

I would have gone with a better (in the long run) PSU, different RAM and ditched the 4770K and put the saved money into a better GPU. Also would have chosen a better SSD. But considering the deal you got on the one GPU it wasn't a wacky choice. Not going to give a point score because that would be silly.

It's decent.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Going into it and still now I am not a heavy gamer. I am just now really getting into it. The 4770k I bought way after I got the 1st GPU so it was what I had. Thanks for the comment!
