How do MG06A and P300 hard disk drives compare? The first has better specifications on paper, such as transfer rate and better warranty than the second (5 vs 2 years). I never had a HDD failed without warnings, but accidents do happen and I don't want to risk loosing 10TB of data. For the price of one 10TB MG06A, I can buy three 3TB P300. I believe both are 7200RPM CMR. What would you choose?

3-2-1 backup: in theory you should have 3 copies of your data on two different media (not *really* necessary) with one copy off-site for disaster recovery
I usually recommend just having two copies of your data plus a copy of anything that's actually mission critical in the cloud.
Note: RAID is not backup

5950X/4090FE primary rig  |  1920X/1070Ti Unraid for dockers  |  200TB TrueNAS w/ 1:1 backup

The mg06 will be a bit faster. It's on a newer platter generation then the 3tb p300. 1.42tb/platter for the MG06ACA10TE  vs 1tb for the HDWD130.

I also noticed that 16TB MG08 is also available and for the additional capacity might be worth the cost. Would this be faster than 10TB MG06? I am assuming that none of these is NAS?

Yes it will, that drive is using a 9 disk platform, so roughly 1.8tb/platter. The toshiba mg is an enterprise grade drive, so they'll do just fine in a nas.
