Hello guys

I recently bought an rx 7800xt and being an ADHD machine with no patience, I decided to plug it into my current setup "just to see if it works" xD Im currently waiting for a ryzen 7 7700x, a b650-plus and 64gb RAM. Well, it does work. I've noticed however, that my GPU usage is about 60% while gaming on same settings in pubg and getting roughly same fps as I did with gtx 1660ti. Im getting pretty big inconsistencies though. Im wondering if this is because Im currently using an am4 mtherboard with an am4 CPU ( 5 5600g) and the GPU is bottlenecked or maybe something totaly different, idk. Id appreciate any opinion/info you guys might have 🙂 I REFUSE to believe I paid £420 for the same fps.

You don't have any FPS limit set?

Also are you using the same settings or are you getting the same FPS but with better detail or maybe increased resolution?

Have to ask the silly questions first just in case 🙂

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

I just checked, Ultra settings in PUBG Im getting around 200fps but it drops to like 80-90 for a second and my game stops. My CPU usage is also 100 so that is probably the reason xD I guess the AM4 motherboard is also limiting the GPU but idk if it can actually use the 32gb/s that PCE 4.0 offers, even though its an rx 7800xt.

I have no idea why I was having the same performance on the same settings as my old GPU if on ultra, im getting significantly more
