Nvidia App Overlay

How accurate is the overlay in Nvidia's app? Because it doesn't seem to be that acurate due to the fact I can see the numbers constantly change.

What numbers are you seeing that is constantly changing?

And what are you doing when it does?

 

I trust MSI afterburner overlay and my numbers are bouncing a lot while gaming.

This is completely normal.

it's if they didn't change that something might be wrong like not reading often enough.

Oh that will constantly bounce all over the place!   Especially if the polling rate is low.

How often it updates every second.

So 100 millisecond polling rate would mean that it updates 10 times a second.

This means I can see temperature changes, wattage etc 10 times a second.
