need recommendations for mini pc's

I'm looking to get a mini PC but don't know what to look for. I want to have a desktop PC for gaming but have limited space hence why I'm looking for a mini PC. I mainly play big mod packs on Minecraft but would like something that can run more resource intensive games. I have a laptop that I game on but I want to play games with my little brother so I wanted to get a mini PC for me so he can have my laptop since he uses it more anyways. My budget is about 1k.
