anyone having a problem downloading it?

yup it's slow as balls. I'm downloading at 50kilobytes per second which is about 20 times slower than what I usually download at on origin.

It's probably because since the game is free there are 10 billion people trying to download bf3 at the same time.

I can´t download it too. Connection to server lost.

EA - Our Server sucks

I've been having this problem too. On a 30Mb connection and the file is 20GB - it's taken 7 hours so far, should have taken 2 and a half... It's been around 1.5MB/s downloading. And the download keeps failing, saying either my internet is bad or the server is playing up. Must be all the traffic because my friend is having the same problem as well.

Nope, wired connection over powerline. I'm with TalkTalk and have the basic fibre plan (which is 40Mb max). I'd be tempted to switch to BT but I'm not sure if you can just get a broadband package or not, and the complete packages are more expensive than my current fibre plan, although the speeds are better...

I logged out and restarded origin. Mine was stuck at 50KB/s which is ridiculously slow and now that I restaredd it's 1.2MB/s which is about what my max speed on my internet is like.

Aghhh these EA server issues are driving me insane! I have a 45Mbs fibre connection but I'm getting a download speed of 156KB/s...

And every 10 minutes or so an error saying "uh oh, your connection to the server has been lost" or something like that anyway :/

Plus, (not sure if it's connected) my games of BF4 in the last couple of days have been stupidly laggy. Sometimes even unplayable. Has anyone else seen this??

Intel Core i5 4670K  /  Nvidia GeForce GTX 780  /  8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 1600MHz  /  240GB Corsair Neutron SSD  /  2TB WD Black  /  Windows 8.1 64Bit Pro  /  13inch MacBook Pro w/Retina Display

got it already a couple days ago, but I'm really hating those freaking hackers that came a long with it.

And game has 3 BUGs!

Lag, echo, Freeze. All the time and it's really annoying!
