Hey guys, so I've been looking at monitors to buy for my new PC, and I have chosen the LG 29EA73-P 29" UltraWide IPS Monitor. It looks really immersive and beautiful, also I'm not a HUGE fan of triple monitor setup so this what I picked. Anyway I'm wondering if 2560x1600 at 75Hz at 24 bits/pixel, and 60Hz at 30 bits/pixel would be possible with HDMI 1.3 According to http://superuser.com/questions/119755/hdmi-with-resolution-2560-x-1440-possible, it is. What do you guys think?

Thanks.

This is the way to go. I do not recommend HDMI for connecting anything other than your home electronics devices. It's such a terrible standard.

yes, for a single home TV, other than that, i don't think so
