I finished building my first pc build only for it to not display anything on my monitor. Everything lights up and fans are spinning but no signal. Ive triple checked all my wires and connections but still no signal. Ive tried using different monitors with no result. I tried reseating my RAM sticks but still didn't work. I took it to Best Buy's Geek Squad and they found that the power supply I had was faulty so I bought a new one. I plugged everything in, and still no signal. Triple checked my wires, reseated my RAM sticks (took them out 1 by 1, trying each slot) and still no signal. Ive tried unplugging my GPU and using integrated graphics and still no signal. Ive drained the CMOS battery hoping that was the problem only for it to not change anything. I have not seen the bios screen once. Maybe I'm just dumb and doing something incredibly wrong but either way i just want my pc to boot. Pls help.

Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600

MOBO: GIGABYTE B650M K

GPU: Radeon RX 6800

RAM: Silicon Power Value Gaming DDR5 32GB (2x16GB)

PSU: NZXT C750 750W 80+ Gold

I know your grief. I once ran into the same problem, no display output seemed to work like it should.

I'd fully remove the card from the motherboard and plug the monitor into the motherboard.

Restart the machine and let it run for a minute or so, if you get nothing try restarting again and wait another minute, do this 3 restarts.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

Ive shutdown the pc multiple times and started it again with no results.

Yeah but did you make any changes to the hardware in between, even just change what port a cable was plugged into?

What cable are you using for the monitor and is it plugged into the GPU or into the motherboard?

Ive used a display port cable, dvi to hdmi cable, and hdmi cable. Ive plugging them into both the MOBO and GPU but none of them get any signal.

So I think windows has a thing, something like if it fails to boot 3 times it goes into a kind of safe boot or something. I'm trying to get you to trigger that. However I think that if you make any hardware changes in between it may reset the loop. I'm trying to get you to try 3 restarts with making any hardware changes. At worst you'll lose 5 minutes of your time.

I didn't know windows had that but I assume that it wouldn't work in my case since my pc doesn't even have windows yet.
