New CPU upgrade causing visual glitches

Hi upgraded my cpu from AMD Ryzen 5 3600x to AMD Ryzen 5 5600x turned the machine on was having problem turning it on like it was stuck on a boot loop but then it came to life but I noticed the bios changed my ram speed to a lower speed had to change it back. But iam noticing visual glitches after the new CPU is installed my GPU is gtx 1070ti

@Eigenvektor @WereCat Thanks for the reply I have taken CMOS battery out and then put it back in I don't have any screenshots but when you move the mouse around fast enough it looks jagged and stuttery.

What do you mean Afterwards apply your RAM XMP/DOCP profile?.

XMP or DOCP is the to run the RAM at it's rated speeds and not in the default JEDEC speeds. So it you have 3200MT/s RAM it will run at 2133 or 2400MT/s by default instead.

Can you run some sort of memory test like Memtest86 to see if you don't have any memory errors?

@WereCat @Eigenvektor Here is a pic of the problem

Instead of taking a picture with a camera, try using the Windows Snipping Tool. Or press the print screen button on your keyboard, then paste it into Paint. This way you get a full screen image of the screen without camera artifacts.

Is this a TV? Does it have some form of game mode?

The primary effect looks like screen tearing to me. Do you have V-Sync or Adaptive Sync enabled in game? Double image could potentially be caused by an HDMI/DP cable that isn't shielded properly or damaged somehow.

~edit: maybe check if the monitor cable is properly seated on both ends, as a first step. I assume you moved your computer around while swapping CPUs and you may have accidentally dislodged the cable as a result.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply

@WereCat I will try idea pal tomorrow got to see if I have a spare usb drive just a question how does ram effect GPU graphics?.

Unstable RAM can cause artifacting because of corrupted data the same way as if you had VRAM issues.
