Recently I watched a vid going over taking disposable vape batteries and turning them into rechargable portable battery packs, thought this was a brilliant idea especially since the 3 other people I live with use them often.

Problem is that all the projects I find going over how to make them require a 3D printer, which I don't have.

Is there a sort of 'kit' somewhere I could buy mostly configured with all the parts needed just waiting for the battery drop in??

You could just use a company like jlcpcb to 3d print the holder for you.

there's diy battery bank kits that just require you drop in an 18650, but i assume you wont be getting 18650's out the vapes.

ps, for anyone unaware, disposable vapes usually use a rechargeable lithium battery, the only thing making them 'disposable' is a lack of charge port and refill port.
