Hello,

Since yesterday when i tried to launch a game (war thunder) my computer has been experiencing frequent crashing, with what looks like a GPU issue. My problem is that today after coming home, every time I tried to login the screen would freeze and the computer would enter a state of bluescreen. Below is an image of my computer every time it crashes. In never had come across any issue with thermals.

I have an RX6800XT that was bought brand new a little more than a year ago, my CPU is a Ryzen 7 7700x with 32 GB of ram. My PSU is an enermax 800W. I have been able to get it to boot to bios.

If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated

the problem with that is id have to remove the CPU cooler as its obscuring the ram (I have low profile ram)

also your cpu has an igpu... so remove the dedicated gpu and see if you get a picture over the motherboard hdmi out.

can you get the ram if you remove just the CPU cooler's fan?

Well, from that picture I can see your PC is BSODing. Are you able to boot to Windows? If so, can you provide us with the BSOD error? There's some instructions on how to do it here: https://linustechtips.com/topic/354634-bsod-posting-instructions-please-read/

First, I'd test your Ram, if it's hard to get to you can run a software test, though testing one stick at a time or different kits all together is better. Either using the portable version of Memtest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic(built into Windows) to scan for errors. Let Memtest run for a couple passes and WMD run all the way through. It could take about an hour for either. If either detects errors your ram will need to be replaced.

I'd also like to know which exact model of Enermax PSU you have, as some are good, and some are god awful.

Main Desktop: CPU - i9-14900k | Mobo - Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | GPU - PNY Gaming OC RTX 5080 16GB RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 64GB 6400mhz | AIO - Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm | PSU - Corsair RM1000X | Case - Hyte Y40 - White | Storage - Samsung 980 Pro 1TB Nvme /  Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 4TB Nvme / Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB Nvme / Samsung 870 EVO 4TB SSD / Samsung 870 QVO 2TB SSD/ Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD|

TV Streaming PC: Intel Nuc CPU - i7 13th Gen | RAM - 16GB DDR4 3200mhz | Storage - Crucial P3 Plus 1TB Nvme |

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra - Black 256GB |

Another important thing to mention is that a year ago I had issues with blue screening and stuff not updating and downloading. When I visited the forum people told me it might be a ram issue which is when I set it to EXPO, without it my PC crashes. This might be due to unstable ram.  The specs are:

G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory

There seems to be a lot of errors (as of current I'm up to 1100

Then you definitely have an issue.....

You need to do something about it. Either you try removing one stick and run memtest86 until you find the defective one. Or you test your sticks into another computer.

There is also a chance that your CPU or motherboard are causing the error. But start by testing the sticks.

Good luck.

firstly im going to try each stick out

sure thing,  but you gonna still have to buy new ram lol... what's testing gonna do? you need a set (kit) of 2 sticks for Ryzen,  they don't like mix'n'match at all.
