Is it just me or are you guys having a laugh using Blue switches ?

I use the Browns .

Can someone please explain why anyone would use the ridiculous switch that is Blue ?

Used the cm storm tk in blue for one day and sent it back for a full refund .

I know it's great being an enthusiast on anything PC tech but come on guys the bloody noise is crazy when Browns are just the same without that racket . :P

People who like a stiffer key and the loud click. I like them, but I went with reds instead.

No they are noisy and rubbish for gaming blade of grass

That's subjective. I personally like them for gaming, and I love the noise.

It's entirely subjective, as blade of grass said. It's like saying someone is stupid for liking metal; just because you don't like metal doesn't mean it's bad. I've used blues/browns/reds and I very much prefer blue key switches, just as majority of mechanical keyboard enthusiasts do. I understand there are people like you that will call people stupid because they like something that you don't, but you need to understand that everyone is different and everyone has different preferences and that the world doesn't evolve around any one person.

As said, preference is subjective, while I like Blue for typing......for gaming, not so much. I prefer Red and Black actually, when I play UT3 (my test game for fast paced action FPS), somehow, with the Black and Red, I tend to do better. I'm able to more easily to double tap and launch myself very quickly out of the way of an incoming shot or opponent, I find doing that on the Blue doen't come so easily.....may be it's just me.

I understand why some people may hate blues, but this is my first mechanical keyboard (ducky shine 2) and I love the feel of MX blue keyswitches. I know browns are exactly the same but i love that clicking noise. Just like Linus says all the time whenever he discusses mechanical keyboards, "It's all just personal preference".
