I've gotten a new pc recently and with a few selection of games i have been having problems with bad anti aliasing and textures flickering here are some examples: 

 

     

The 2 examples also apply to grand theft auto v but I cannot upload a video showing it because i uninstalled it but heres a youtube link showing the issue by another person https://youtu.be/ljbmKyza2_s?si=INz1bhjWf1vCXof-
my pc specs if needed : Rx 7800 xt, Ryzen 7 7800x3d , 32 gigs of ram 6000 mhz

That is just how older games were made. Antialiasing wasn't still that advanced. Modern games solved this issue by reducing the focus distance of rendered textures. You still get textures rendered further ahead, but based on their location, they don't get AA applied and are slightly out of focus, which eliminates these effects. It;s not an issue with your hardware, it's an issue with the games themselves.

this happens a lot, people buy new hardware and *then* suddenly notice bad aa etc in some games - i suppose its because they're now playing with higher settings and resolution... but yes, aa has always looked terrible in some games... can sometimes be alleviated with some nvcp tweaks tho, aka often the driver solution is better than what is employed by the game engine.
