How to Use Server's GPU and CPU on Current Laptop?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently using my old Acer E15 laptop as a Plex server, but it has better GPU performance compared to my current MSI Bravo 14 laptop. I feel like it's a waste of resources, so I would like to leverage the GPU and CPU power of my server on my current laptop through VS Code. Additionally, if possible, I'd also like to use this setup for gaming, which would be a huge help.

My current laptop is running the latest version of Ubuntu and also has Windows 10 installed. Could anyone guide me on how to set this up?

Best way to do this is probably to use something like Parsec to remote into the desktop.

 

As far as VS Code what are you doing in there? Thats just a text editor and should run on any system, but you can run code on systems remotly.
