would change the psu to a seasonic focus gx, and you don't need 1200w for sure, go for a 750 or 850, if you already have that cooler it will perform great, just cheaper options available if you haven't bought it yet

1200W isn't *necessary*, but there's nothing wrong with having overhead. GPUs and CPUs are only drawing more power as the years go on, and it's cheaper in the long run to buy a slightly overkill PSU now so you don't have to buy a bigger one later when you upgrade. Just my thoughts.

Agreed on cooler.

fully agree, seasonic gx is a tier, was just to cut back on spending, nothing wrong with a 1000+ unit

is enermax a good brand? i knew they existed just never really seen them in use or heard people talking about them, if i'm the problem here by all means go for the one you had, as it is a great deal for a 1200w

let's see,

this Montech case is big already, but to check,

CPU cooler:

GPU:

image.png.1486b892d5d21a17e548e8c234654f29.png

Case:

image.png.45ce186ca4de91bcdc9879620d98edb3.png

might be tight GPU fit, but perhaps it'll get there, if 330 + 330 doesn't make pcpartpicker mad then it'll probably fit, Montech is also pretty good quality case so there's a chance the clearance includes fans installed

maybe I'd get different SSD, but it's not a big deal really

if you find WD Black SN770 cheaper, it's a good SSD to grab

also is the gf1 850w an atx 3.0 psu? cause it doesnt seem to mention atx 3.0 anywhere despite being a 2024 model

I don't believe the GF1 is ATX 3.0. The GF3 is.

I want to be able to run 120 fps consistently and be able to stream and get just as good frames. Ive used a lot of the suggestions I've been given from this forum to come up with this build is this good enough and is there anything I can change to make it a little bit cheaper? possibly any memorial day sales? i want to try and cut some costs but still be able to game and stream at just as high level. looking for around 2100 after tax or cheaper.

Alternatively, you might want to consider an Intel build since you plan to stream:

Not that the 7800X3D is a slouch at streaming. However, if I planned on multitasking while gaming and streaming: I would probably opt for something Intel. If it was a pure gaming build, I would opt for a 7800X3D. I know this debate can carry on forever; that even OBS in the background doesn't really saturate an 8-core. Nonetheless, IMO, the extra cores/threads on Intel can't hurt the situation and will only make the entire gaming/streaming experience more fluid.

Definitely will be able to hit 120Hz.  I have a lesser GPU and I can hit that with a 1440p Ultrawide.

I wouldn't change anything if those are the parts you like.  Some may advocate a Samsung SSD, but what you have won't be noticeably different.

Mostly it's subjective stuff.  I would spend more on a case, cuz that's me.  Otherwise that machine you have listed will perform incredibly well.  No changes will increase your performance at all.

One thing I have no idea about is the monitor, so I cannot comment on that.
