This apple a1283 had a working os but I had to wipe the ssd clean from recovery and reinstall the os so I could sell this mac. I did it and now I can't install the os again. Keeps on giving error 403 no matter what I do. I tried wifi, ethernet, other apple accounts, changing the time and date but nothing help.

Someone help me out here. How to install the os again?

OS X El Capitan

It's either a credentials issue or a certificate issue.

Try setting the clock back a few years, that might make it think the old, expired certificates Apple hasn't updated are still valid.

If you have another working Mac, you can create a USB install drive.

Tried that already, didn't work.
I only have windows devices that's the only mac I got.
I've always disliked apple and this just fuels my hate even more lmfao. 😄
Will these help me? Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support

One more try today, I'll try to download it from a windows pc and then hooking it to the mac. Windows said it's a virus lmfao and I pressed yes to download it anyway. Same site and link as before. (Support.apple)
