Need some help for installing another rom besides Cyanogen.

Go to solution Solved by Hawx,

Sorry for the late reply, but I mean, I want to keep cyanogenmod in the phone, but have another rom in it, like a recovery one, my friend has something like that, he is paranoid android and cyanogen both installed on his S3, but he wont tell me how he did it

Google search 'Android Dual Boot', there's various links about it.

So I used the Cyanogenmod installer to install Cyanogen on my S2, but now I would like to install another rom(I am open to suggestions) as I am feeling adventurous, so I was wondering, does the Cyanogen installer already unlock the bootloader and root the phone? Since I have root access and I have the recovery option. So basically, I just want to know if I can just install the Rom itself, since I used the Cyanogen Installer, or if I need to do something special before that.

When I rom my phone, I go back to stock first.  Make sure to clear cache and delvik(or whatever it's called) before flashing the rom / kernel.  I suggest you try paranoid android or pacman rom

Linux "nerd".  If I helped you please like my post and maybe add me as a friend :)  ^_^!

I had a galaxy s2 a while ago..

Go to galaxys2root.com

They have the newest rom.

Just check through comments to find which one has all the features you need.

Also check peoples experience about battery performance.

Last rom i used was omni rom.

except these dual boot solutions are very flaky and may or may not work 100%.
