Which of these two RAM kits should I use?

I have these two kits in my possession but I don't know which one to keep and which one to sell to recover some money. Both kits are 3600mhz 32gb (2x16gb), one from Corsair and the other from Teamgroup.

Welcome to the forums!
The TeamGroup kit has tighter timings, but both are gonna perform very similarly

corsair as its dual rank so abit of a performance boost over the teamgroup clock for clock

an exception would be if you are gonna run on an amd apu then youd wanna go for the teamgroup unless you can verify that the corsair is samsung d die (capable of ~4600) and not shitty c die or even unbinned b die that definitely wont clock past 4000

Huh, TIL RAM Speed Groups
https://www.crucial.in/support/memory-speeds-compatability

Again, these are gonna be *really* similar in performance, but the Corsair sticks have a slightly higher base speed grade

Personally I'd go with corsair just because I have run a lot of their dimms and they've always handled RMA well, but freal, don't stress, it won't matter much

I'd trust @Somerandomtechyboi, when he speaks about RAM it looks like hieroglyphics to me, so he probably knows what he's talking about.

is ram oc really that confusing? all i see is a bunch of timings i can tighten or loosen depending on if im trying to get max performance or just doing frequency runs and some voltages that affect the rams

though i guess theres also lots of ics and lots of platfroms with varying oc capabilities from trash to really good and you have to dig around to know what the hardware is capable of or just buy the hardware try it for yourself which resulted in me getting 3400 ddr3 on 45nm bloomfield of all things with ambient cooling

dual rank outperforming single rank abit is just general knowledge though it has a lesser effect on ddr5 compared to ddr4 and ddr3

i mainly focus on frequency shenanigans so ram performance wise i only have a really basic idea with freq > timings and timings wise tertiares > secondaries > primaries alongside general knowledge like dual rank > single rank and more trefi = better, ill explore actually getting good ram performance in depth when i get interested in benching

I mean, unless you forget to do your research, it is known that tuning ram only improves like 1-3% worth of fps and maybe slightly decreases latency but that's it, at least more or less when it comes to gaming and general use
