7800X3D VS. 14700K in terms of end to end latency.

Heard few ppl say stay away from Gigabyte boards as they are bad when it comes to DPC Latency.

I haven't seen any of the sorts with my X670e Aorus Master or B650 Aorus Ultra that runs my living room's TV (with an R5 7600). Both of which I watch tons of video content on, still mostly watching it on my desktop.

I have a friend with that MSI board in his R5 7600 rig, another with the B650 Aorus Elite. No complaints from either on that sort of issue.

14700k>7 7800x3d in terms of performance *in general*

7 7800x3d > i7 14700k Barely in terms of latency. Not noticeable in my opinion. 3d vcache will give you some more stability for sure.

For gaming the 7800x3d wins almost every single time against a 14900k. Even easier time against a 14700k

This is one of those topics that I find fascinating to watch people converse about. Meanwhile i'm sitting here as a human sack of bones thinking there is no way anyone can tell the difference in these single digit millisecond differences but its discussed as if its the end of the world.

Very interesting.

You also know people will argue for EONS about a 0.1 second 0-60 time making one car AMAZING and the other a TOTAL PIECE OF SHIT 🙂

It is interesting though, and a lot of good "other" info comes out of these discussions.
