Can find it for a good price new locally, and i dont care about removable cables.

Its on the B:Tier in the PSU list and its a pretty decent unit 🙂

It only has a 5 year warranty though.

Are psu's that likely to fail I should get one with 10 years?

No not really. If it last for 5 years it got a pretty good chance at lasting for 10
