Looking for the best free VPN, any suggestions?

Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Corsair H105, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite, Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3600MHz, EVGA RTX 3070Ti FTW3, Samsung 850 Pro / WD SN850 / OCZ Trion 150

only one i know of is proton vpn

 

if privacy is your goal then theres also tor but i dunno if that classifies as a vpn or not

I remember Firefox and Brave(?) advertising they've got their free build in one or something but VPN's aren't something I'd consider using for free.

Still a very shady company. I remember I think Samsung had a scandal that their VPN was more invasive that virus filled free ones. No idea how that ended.
