Looking for a motherboard for my Ryzen 5 2600

Hello guys.

Before I had a tomahawk b450 max that I broke the CPU socket so I need new mobo.

CPU is in perfect condition.

I want to buy a new motherboard that is fully compatible with my Ryzen 5 2600, at this time I wouldn't buy new CPU or RAM.

Some boards I looked into didn't provide compatibility with my ram sticks.

My specs are:

Already have a RX 570 4GB

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4-3200MHz (CMK16GX4M2E3200C16).

RM750x PSU

CPU RYZEN 5 2600

Stock cooler

K508 cooler master ca

se

2 HDDs

One SSD

Thank you guys

even if it's not on the QVL, corsair vengeance plays pretty nicely with most any Ryzen board.

Are you looking at new only, or considering used? Almost any of the MSI B450 MAX boards are a great pick and I bet you can find a lot on eBay. Otherwise:

These are some decent low-price options

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

B550 doesn't officially support Zen+ so you have to either get a B450 or X570. Although, I've seen B550 working with Zen+...

Yes, SOME boards work with Zen +, not all of them. Bunch of B550 chipsets supports only Ryzen 3xxx, 5000x series cpus.
But he should consider that his ram MIGHT NOT work on 3200MT/s, but rather 2933.....cause that is what Ryzen 5 2600 supports.
B450 chipset should be cool.
He can try Gigabyte, MSI....there are affordable boards....60-70 $/€.

I heard that coffee's good for my sex life.

It isn't.

It kept me awake through the whole damn thing!

I actually had to participate.

Quick question reminder

Does the mobo comes with the CPU SOCKET back plate? That black plate that holds the CPU cooler?

Any thoughts?

I've been using this one for a while now in my daily with an R5 2600 chip without any issues.

Cheap enough and has all the basic features I need, which in all honesty may not fulfill your own needs which you'd need to consider first.
If you know what your needs are or expected to be related to board features, that will help guide you to an actual board selection.

FIXED:

It was nothing of course because there was no ez debug light on.

So the issue was .... With the f@@@@ plastic thing that has the GPU which is PowerColor Red Devil RX 570 OC, that is for the dust I assume and for the view..

But that thing was on the SATA ports that are on the very right side of the mobo and .. the same straight way of the pcie express.

Nice MSI you did well.

Tomahawk was perfecttly made and this is like crap my GPU doesn't fit some time I will upgrade for sure.

Question, if you search on Google my GPU and see what I am talking about that black red cover PowerColor Red Devil RX 570 OC, is it ok I remove it cuz doesn't fit?

Also I could try the other pcie express which I did but didn't fit there as well cuz of that cover

That's all thanks
