fh4 crash when i click continue

i own a legit copy of fh4 from steam, and im trying to run the game but whenever i click continue to start playing the game crashes

my hardware is old but it can run the game...i don't use any kind of crack my PC is clean.

things i did to solve the problem but did not work :

)

 -tried to remove nahimic services but nothing was found in ( task manager or registry editor )

 -tried to change DNS to 8.8.8.8

 -tried to reinstall the game

 -tried to update all drivers

 -tried to update win10

 -tried to reset the game but the modify option was disabled

 -tried to use a VPN ( someone told me to give it a try )

 -tried a clean boot and it worked for a day, the next day the problem returned

)

i really have no idea what is going on with this game.

games i play without issues ( fifa 23, a plague tale innocence, valorant, little nightmares )

i don't think it is a problem with my GPU, i mean it can run other games without issues!

Welcome to the forums!
Can you provide full specs of the PC?
Also, what's the nature of the crash? Is it crash to desktop? to menu? full BSOD?
And what shows up in Event Viewer when this happens?

Also check your temps while in menu and when you try hitting Continue. HW monitor is useful for this

Launch the game, make it crash, go to the start menu, type "event viewer" click on it, wait for it to load, make sure Event Viewer (local) is selected, look for events in the Critical or Error sections. It should be only a couple
Here is a screenshot of mine (note, something really weird happened this morning requiring a reboot which is why I have a Critical and so many in Error

Double click anything that has an event in the past 1 hour and skim the General tab for anything about FH4 or GPU or stuff like that. If you have too many things to look at, you can try crashing the game a couple more times and see what numbers keep going up.

Honestly my guess would be some weird driver issue with that intel GPU. But something that would be worth a shot would be trying a clean install. If you have a spare drive hanging around (even HDD) you could install windows on that and see if it still crashes

yeah sounds like a driver issue.  if you somehow can try another gpu (amd or nvidia)

you could also try booting into a live linux version, IF forza is compatible at all.
