Is my planned gpu good?

I am building a pc for the first time and I found a gpu called the ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 ROG Strix Overclocked Triple Fan 8GB PCLe 4.0. I want to know if it is good. If you have any experience with it could you tell me about please. Other than that is it good.

Its a very good card but the ROG STRIX versions are extremely overpriced for what they are.

I would get the Gigabyte GAMING OC RTX 4060... its 100 dollars cheaper

It's good,

but a different 4060 that's 100$ cheaper can be as good as this one is.

it's actually really bad value. 8gb nowadays doesn't really cut it. try getting a gpu with at least 12gb...

4070, 4070 super, 6800xt, 7800xt etc.

Eh, depends what resolution and games OP will be playing. If they're only going to be at 1080p 8GB should be fine for most titles. But yeah, I'd try to get a bit more VRAM if budget allows.
