Cant seem to update my BIOS whatsoever

Ive beeen trying v hard to try and update my BIOS as I want to enable an option which is available in an update but not in the current version that I have. When I go into my BIOS I dont see an option to update it, Ive tried changing the UI for my BIOs but nothing seems to work. I have a Colorful A320m-m.2 pro V15 and a ryzen 5 2600. any help would be highly appreciated

youll need to download the bios version you want form the relevant website, put it onto a pen drive and boot into bios and update from there using pen drive

What do you mean  you can't see a place to update it?

Little googling, that board may not have a BIOS update utility built into the BIOS at all. The board has a header but pinout isn't listed. The BIOS may have a firmware level shell where an update script can be run but its certainly not going to be straight forward. 

 

This video didn't really help at all but it was about all I could find.

Download the BIOS you want: https://en.colorful.cn/en/home/Product?id=897&mid=84

Format a USB drive to FAT32. Extract the contents of the zipped file to the USB drive. Reboot PC and boot from the USB.
