It’s decent for the price, though the GPU is a bit underwhelming.

The psu won’t be a limiting factor for most midrange cards, the board will be fine for lower power am4 chips though you’d want to add vrm heatsinks and a downdraft cooler to keep the power delivery cool with higher end CPUs.

2400mhz ddr4 is noticeably slow, especially on am4, ddr4 ram is a fairly cheap component, i recommend at least cl16 3200mhz and ideally 3600mhz

You could comfortably step up to something like a 5800x and sub 300w GPU into the future, provided you added vrm heatsinks to the board. It’s a decent budget platform for some long term changes.

6.9 Million IDR

beneran 6.9jt atau aslinya 7jt?

saya sih ga pake enterkomputer  biasanya pake tokopedia

totalnya minus casing 6.7jt an

@8tg
1. The gpu lil bit outdates but i think that's the sweetspot. im trying too look for 1070 perhaps. or do you have recommendation with AMD GPU? not familiar with them.
2. Oh yeah the ram speed.. thank you for reminding.
3. 5800x and 300W gpu seems great for upgrade later on.
4. I would look for VRM heatsink

@Somerandomtechyboi
Ah I did not speak "bahasa" on daily basis tho so I can only comprehend few :3
1. I do not need 5600 for I only do minimum gaming.
2. Quad ram in dual-channel will put extra load on memory controller.
3. Never heard of that PSU. Be Quiet is extraordinary good for budget even high-end
4. i think 550M better than 450M. better for longevity

did not realize you were a foreigner but welcome to indonesia =)

1. 5500 tray saves you about 330rb but less performance, theres basically no diff between 5600 and 5700x gaming wise so might aswell just get a 5600 so you dont have to upgrade a dead platform, also esport titles really need the cpu performance so you really shouldnt be downgrading the cpu

2. not a concern, this is dual rank on ryzen and ryzen is fine with 4 sticks and dual rank, 3800 should still be possible, the 5500 has a much better imc so expect 4600+ on dual rank though youll run into boardlimit first due to max 1.4v on the b3/450 pro4, also asrock 300 and 400 boards are t topology so they are ideal for 4 stick, think they actually straight up run better on 4 stick then they do on 2 stick

3. dont focus on branding, that be quiet will be completely blown away by that rexiii wattage wise and value wise, not to mention something like the andyson 1200w px at 845rb and thats tier b on the psu tierlist, ive bought 3 psus  all <300rb purely based on the 12v rail and no issues here even overclocking the shit out of x58 and trying to get 3400+ ddr4

4. again doesnt matter, this is a dead platform and those b450 boards will still support the 5800x3d/5700x3d if you really wanna to max this platform out, a 900rb b450 will be far superior to whatever trash b550 you get at the same price which are guaranteed to have worse i/o and vrms probably not evem being able to handle a 5800x3d so you get worse upgradability too

as for upgrade path on the build ive reccomended you can go for am5 later on once prices have gone down on current gen when the next few gens release and you are ready for an upgrade

5700x3d can also be a viable drop in upgrade if those come down in price in the near future assuming (used) b650 boards like the hdv dont just drop into the 1jt range alongside cheap 7500f or cheap ddr5 like what has happened with b3/450 boards on am4

gpu wise maybe a used 6800xt (5jt) or 3090 (9.5-10.5jt) or new 4070s (~10jt) depending on how much you can spend

if you have any more questions regarding the build just ask away, i have a decent bit of knowledge on ddr4 platforms and some hands on experience with lesser known psus, also just oc the balls off my hardware for fun so im pretty aware of stuff like imc or mobo limits when im pushing my ddr3 to 3300+ on a 16 year old platform =p
