Kickstarter portable monitor reputable?

Hi,

Was searching around for a portable monitor and found the JSAUX FlipGo on kickstarter. It seems to have very nice features and it just looks too good to be true but the company seems to be known for steam deck accessories so it's not like it's a ghost company. This seems to be a very niche product, is there other options I should look at?

The deal is you can never be sure... but the track record for monitors on KS isn't great, from outright scam that never delivers to deceiving specs to simple rebrands which means that once the OEM has it ready it's available for way cheaper from other sources either shortly after or even before the pledges are delivered.

Most startups that use crowd funding aren't reputable established brands. That's why they use Kickstarter to get money instead of their own.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
