Yeah, Amazon has confirmed and noted their file that I have raised concerns, while letting me know they are backing the purchase 100%.

 

Since I paid via AMEX, disputing the charge will be easy as clicking a button (love you AMEX!!!).  No actual cash from my accounts.

 

So if it cancels, fine.  if not, I stop at Kohls on the way home and return it.  

 

Though they seem to have undercut a LOT of cards, so it's a theme and Amazon will hopefully address.

No, I canceled yesterday but I was just saying if it didn't go thru cuz it was the whole "trying to cancel, but the order was sent to merchant for fulfillment thing".

 

But with the wide spread price cutting, he can't have gotten EVERY GPU onn the planet in bulk to mass sale.

Why don't you just go with this for $550?

 

The 20GB of VRAM, 39% faster memory bandwidth, 25% bigger memory bus and 5% higher shader count is nothing special. All this does is present a 10-20% performance boost, depending on the game. Do you really need 110-120 fps in a game where you get 100 fps or 220-240 fps in a game where you get 200 fps?

 

These extra frames are nothing special.
