Bios update

Hello,

 

I'm going to sound like the biggest wuss ever but I need to update my bios for a certain update. Now I'm actually scared of doing this but I know what I'm doing. For some reason I think my power is going to suddenly go out and that's it for my motherboard even though it has a dual bios. Why am I like this, I don't understand why I can't bring myself to update the bios.  Any ways on whihc I can reassure myself.
