What UPS to go with! $200 Budget

Nolanl83

Looking for a UPS to solve my issue with bad/inconsistent wall power causing my system to hard shutdown

Thinking between this

https://www.apc.com/us/en/product/BN1500M2/apc-backups-pro-1500va-tower-120v-10-nema-515r-outlets-lcd-1-usb-type-c-+-1-usb-type-a-ports/

and this

https://www.costco.com/cyberpower-1500va--900-watts-true-sine-wave-uninterruptible-power-supply-ups.product.4000091462.html

I know I should be looking for a auto voltage regulating unit but not much else. Im open to other options. Trying to stay around for use with this system https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kYqnFs

The second one looks good, I've never heard of APC but I'm sure they're not bad in the UPS market

Message me on discord (bread8669) for more help

Capacity is 1000w for one of them. You can go for that cyberpower if you want tho since the power usage of your system doesn't exceed 670w

Any benefit of this model in comparison to others; Besides greater wattage? Anything that can ensure greater stability to my desktop; Wanting to make a good decision regarding this but to be frank if its more than what I need and its price reflects that, no reason point of me getting it. Eitherway; I probably wont go purchase one in person itll probably be shipped.

I don't have the other models but I was looking for a 1500VA/1000W unit and it fit the bill price wise at the time.

I will say also owning an older 1300VA/780W APC unit, the APC software for consumer units is trash compared to the CyberPower software. I like CyberPower specifically for that if anything.

Yea; I havent heard much about software. So good to know Cyberpowers actually got good software. I figure APCs is just more industry focused

The APC has "Stepped approximation to a sinewave" and the Cyberpower has "Sine Wave Output".
