I just bought and installed an arctic cooler 2 420mm (was cheaper than the 360) and the rgb lights up but the software doesnt detect it

tried using the provided software https://rgb.arctic.de/

and also tried using Jack net RGB sync https://rgbsync.com/

no dice

 

I have the RGB cables hooked up to an addressable gen 2 header, because that's where it fitted and it looked right

 

Can anyone explain to me how to get this working?
